Randy Moss once said there is "something fishy goin on" and I must concur. The catch then no catch then failure to overturn on review by L. Murphy is once again a theme for us. That shit was devastating and had a dramatic effect on this game. I don't know how much more of this is going to go on before there is a full blown investigation of NFL officiating.

Why blame any player or coach, they are all "yes, sir!" men to Davis. Ever notice teams score so easily? Why should Davis change "his" defense?

Game over. D held twice on was after a turnover. Then on our own 2 yardline, we spread it out and run it up the middle, except we get sacked for the safety, then give up 95 yd UNTOUCHED return off the free kick.
I mean we still have time to pull off a killer comeback, but with our O-line, phone it in. When the backs are getting hit behind the line of scrimage, you can't blame the back.
Oh, and we put in Satele and moved morris to guard on that play from the 2 for a safety. Not sure if that means anything other than deep in porosity.

Why blame the coaching? it's the same thing I said when Art was Hc...I felt sorry for Art, the guy who hired him knew he couldn't do the job. Al was in a bind and Art bailed him out and Al stabbed him in the back. So Cable get's sucked into the HC job and now the whole thing is a freakin mess again and we have IDIOTS WHO WANT TO BLAME THE COACH. How freakin rare.

This is the worst combination of Joe Bugel and Art Shell II.
At least Bugel's team had a fairly productive offense.
What I'm at a total failure to comprehend is why this team/coach looked so good in winning its last two games in '08. Running game worked, passing game worked, defense could make an occasional stop, and the special teams were lights out.
And the first game v Charges, we out-physical'd them.
Now we get these weekly catastrophies.
I stoped watching games near the end of the Turner era. I TIVO - they win I watch. They loose, I delete.
We'll make the turn at 1-7 and its downhill from there.
What we really need is the 2nd coming of Ron Wolf or Bruce Allen -a strong GM to bring in talent at both the coaching and player levels.
